In a large frying pan, heat the olive oil
Fry the onion for a few minutes until soft
Add the pepper and garlic and cook for a further 5 minutes
Add the chopped tomatoes, oregano and basil
Stir in the olives
Cook on a low heat while you prepare the pasta
Place the pasta in a large saucepan and cover with boiling water
Stir, bring back to the boil and simmer for 12-15 minutes
Season to taste with black pepper
Serve by placing the pasta on a plate and spooning over the sauce
Sprinkle with grated parmesan or cheddar cheese
