Here are items that I would recommend as basic store cupboard items that will help you to produce wonderful meals. If you do not have many of the items you could just gradually get some, buying one extra item per week. I buy many herbs and spices in large bags from Asian stores as often they are much cheaper than buying the small jars from the supermarket. I keep them in smaller jars and seal the bag. The herbs and spices will stay fresh for several months.
The recipes in the Meal Plans are costed out according to the main ingredients. Where the recipe asks for a small amount such as for a herbs and spices, it is assumed to be a store cupboard item
