Penny’s Recipes is all about cooking from scratch and making easy, low cost meals. I share the recipes I have tried, tested and loved, and that have easy to find ingredients and are inexpensive. But this website is about more than that. It is here for people to share their recipes. There are endless ways that food ingredients can be put together to create a wonderful meal, pudding, side dish or delicious cake, bread or biscuit. And we all love to find new ways of doing things – especially if they are surprisingly easy – and cheap!
Many people do make delicious meals, time and again that their family or friends love – so it would be great if those marvellous recipes are shared with everyone. Penny’s Recipes is a place to do this. The website is growing rapidly and increasing in visitors – and I hope it inspires people to try out new recipes – which are tasty and save money.
In my recent cooking journey I have been delighted at the simplicity and joy of cooking. I especially loved the recipes that people have shared even more – Christmas Muffins from @Lynnibinny, Tofu chilli from Connie and Lemon Drizzle Cake from Kloe to name but a very few.
If you try any of the recipes sent in by readers – do make a comment. We all like to know our recipes have been loved by someone! 🙂

What Will Happen To My Recipe That I send In?
When you send in your recipe, it may take a few days before it appears on the website. You will be fully acknowledged with a link to your website or your Twitter or Facebook reference. If you don’t want a link to those, then you may like a link to a favourite charity. Of course if for any reason you wish to remain anonymous, then then that is fine too, revealing your identity is not compulsory!
What Should I Write?
Well the recipe is the most important bit – in whatever way makes sense to you. If you would like to, please give more information such as where you first found it – has it been handed down in the family, copied from a friend or adapted from a favourite cookery book or perhaps you saw it on Masterchef or tried it on holiday and recreated it in your own kitchen. Perhaps say what you most like about it and when you most like to cook it – even where you buy the ingredients from! Mention any tips and hints – or variations. If you don’t want to write a complete piece – just the recipe with some notes will be fine.
The recipe must be unique and not already published elsewhere on the web.
How Do I Send In a Recipe
