The Perfect Scrambled Egg Saucepan
I love scrambled eggg. But I hate cleaning the pan afterwards unless I have the perfect saucepan. It is essential to have a non-stick pan if you are going to enjoy your scrambled eggs. And a good solid pan means you will get even and gentle cooking.
I also want a pan that is equally happy doing many things other than scrambled eggs, like boiling vegetables, cooking pasta, heating milk or making a sauce.
So I was just a little bit excited when I tried out the Viners Techtnic 16cm saucepan as I had a feeling it was going to be a great pan. And at £21 it is great value for money. And it come with a 25 year guarentee – making it even better value! And it looks good too!
The non-stick is perfect. The scrambled eggs did not make any attempt to stick – it knew it was beaten (if you will pardon the pun!). So all the egg goes on your plate and none is left back in the pan. Washing up is little bit of soapy water and no elbow grease.
The Versatile Saucepan
Not only is great for sauces, milk and scrambled egg but it has a well fitted lid with a small steam hole – superb for cooking vegetables or pasta with out lots of water boiling over. The handle feels sturdy and solid. THe handle did warm up during cooking and you may wish to use a pan handle cover to protect your hands. And the pan looks good too!
It is suitable for all hob types – gas, electric, halogen, ceramic, halogen and solid plate.
A Range of Saucepan Sizes
The pan can also be found in in milk pan size 14cm, 18cm, 20cm and a 20cm omlette pan too. Find the full range here. So if you are looking for the perfect saucepan – just choose your size!
