Weekly Meal Plan – Easy, Low Cost Dinner Recipes
Here is the next meal plan for dinners costing around £30 for the week. Of course the final cost partly depends on where you shop. I have based the price on the shopping list from Sainsbury’s using the website My Supermarket
Costing of the recipes is only rough because of fluctuating prices and depending where you shop. You may find some items such as eggs and vegetables are often cheaper in locally owned food stores, or market stalls, than in the supermarket.
Clearly I cannot guarantee any of the prices – but this is a low cost meal plan to give you generous portions for your meals throughout the week.
I have also excluded store cupboard items from the cost as you will not be buying these every week and only using small amounts. If you need to buy a herb, spice or sauce then this will be an additional cost. You can check what are counted as store cupboard items by clicking here
